35″ Powder Day in Austria Today | Photo Tour:

Hintertux Glacier, Austria today.

Wow. This is silly. People are getting fully shacked on September 24th in Austria today. They’ve gotten 35″ of new snow in the past couple of days up high. Hintertux ski resort is located in Austria, they have large glacier skiing areas, and stay open nearly year round. They currently have 10 lifts open with 18 available ski trails buried in 35″ of new snow. It’s currently 23F up top at Hintertux.

The Alps got nuked on this weekend. HIntertux & Kaunertal in Austria were open and this weekend. Kaunertal had to close down on Friday after receiving 100cms (39”) of new snow.
