This is SCARY: Avalanche Beacon RECALL = Pieps Vector

This is scary. As of September 27th, 2013 PIEPS is recalling all of their Vector avalanche beacons due to safety reasons. PIEPS isn’t giving us any specifics on the exact functionality defect but climbland.com is saying: “Longtime tests shows disfunctions with no recognizability.” – climbland.com It sounds like the PIEPS Vector models simply aren’t working properly which is a very scary thing to consider.
