SNOWING Hard & Sticking at Mammoth, CA Right Now! Yep, it’s currently snowing at Mammoth ski resort in California right now! A storm is currently hitting California that is forecast to have snow levels around 9,000-feet. Since Mammoth goes up to 11,000-feet they are getting some solid snow right now. Tioga and Sonora Passes just north of Mammoth are also above 9,000-feet and should be getting some snowfall today. Be careful if you’re headed over those passes today. These passes may close today. NOAA: Snow For California Today & Tomorrow California is forecast to receive snow today at elevations above 9,000-feet today and tomorrow. This likely means snow for all the high mountain passes in California including Tioga Pass, Sonora Pass, and even the Mt. Rose Pass in Lake Tahoe, NV. Lets get this El Nino winter started! We’ve got multiple fires burning in the mountains of California and this storm will be a huge help in getting those blazes under control.
