We forget that there is a an original Sierra Nevada and it’s in Spain. It’s snowing pretty hard there today. Yep, they get decent snow there and yes, they have ski resorts in the Sierra Nevada, Spain. What’s neat about these mountains is that they are very far south in Spain and they have the most southerly ski resort in Europe. The Sierra Nevadas have mountains as tall as 11,411-feet which is the highest point in Spain. These mountains are located in the traditionally hot and dusty provinces of Andalucia, Granada, and Almeria.
