Squaw & Alpine Will CONNECT Via Gondola: Squaw and Alpine will connect via a gondola. Well, they hope it will. They still haven’t gotten approval for this project but they are sharing with us what their vision for the two ski resorts connecting is. The vision is a gondola that connects Squaw and Alpine’s base areas with no skiing in the White Wolf zone. We’ve interviewd Troy Caldwell, the owner of White Wolf (the land between Alpine and Squaw), a few times and his original vision was a small ski resort between the Squaw and Alpine.
