Cottonwood Canyons, Utah Tonight/Tomorrow = 10-20″ of Snow Forecasted Nearly he entire state of Utah is under Winter Storm Warnings right now. The Cottonwood Canyons are forecasted to get 10-20 inches of snow between now and 6pm Sunday. Utah has been getting it good this early season and this storm is just going to keep it coming. Tahoe Storm Snow Totals & Photos: 22″ Everywhere! The highly anticipated storm rolled through last night and lived up to expectations. Most ski resorts got around 18-22 inches of new snow. It’s only 15F right now and tonight will be -3F in the Tahoe Basin. Tahoe Storm UPGRADED: Up to 2 Feet Above 7,000 Feet The storm coming to Lake Tahoe Today/Tonight has been upgraded to a Winter Storm Warning and they’ve added a significant amount of snow. The Winter Storm Watch issued yesterday was calling for “over a foot” in the higher elevations. The current Winter Storm Warning is calling for 1-2 feet in the higher elevations. Yes! 48 Hours in Wolf Creek, CO with 42 Inches of New Snow The pre-Thanksgiving storm that teased parts of the SW and hammered others has come and gone. In the end Wolf Creek Ski Area, Colorado received a storm total of 42″ of snow bringing the season total up to 105″. Bottomfull Powder Skiing in Tahoe Yesterday This photo was taken by Matt Bansak yesterday, November 21st, 2013 at Round Top mountain near Kirkwood ski resort in California. Lake Tahoe Today = 6-12โ of Snow in 12 Hours Tahoe is forecasted to get up to 12 inches of snow in 12 hours above 7,000 feet today. Not bad. This snow will fall on top of pretty meager snowfall amounts from yesterday. The most any ski resort got was Sugar Bowl with 4โ on the ground yesterday.
