This is very cool news. ย In a season where many Westerdnย ski resorts are announcing early closings, Taos is extending their season an extra week.
It’s been a good season at Taos with 260 inches of snow so far. ย Taos averages 305, so this isn’t too far off the mark.
Taos was scheduled to close on April 5th, and they will close down for 4 days before reopening on April 10th -12th to give skiers and riders one last spring skiing weekend.
Lift tickets will be discounted to $49 that final weekend and if you have a season pass to another ski resort you’ll only pay $40.

Taos got a huge storm cycle in February that dropped 77-inches of snow in 12 days.ย
Taos also put in the Kachina Peak Chair this year that takes skiers and riders to the top of 12,450-foot Kachina peak that hold phenomenal freeride terrain.
