The Wyoming Department of Transportation (โWYDOTโ) has advised that the Teton Pass/WY22 will be closed for avalanche control from Friday, December 8, 2023, at 3:00 a.m. There is strictly no parking at the summit of Teton Pass and Coal Creek beginning at 8:00 p.m. tonight, December 7, 2023.
The WY22 will be closed for avalanche mitigation between Jackson and the Idaho state line, mileposts 7-17. The closure is expected to last two hours. Highway users and backcountry skiers and boarders are advised to plan accordingly.
Please note that there is no trailer traffic and a weight limit of 60,000 GVW over the Teton Pass between Jackson and the Idaho state line from milepost 7 to 17.
