Uber is set to offer an extraordinary ski adventure in New Zealand, marking its tenth anniversary there. This exclusive experience, typically valued at $2,000, will be free to Uber One members. The adventure includes a day of skiing at the private Soho Basin, renowned for its scenic views and exceptional off-piste terrain. The day features a gourmet lunch provided by Amisfield, a premier winery, and concludes with aprรจs-ski drinks at the Rodd & Gunn Lodge in Queenstown.
Emma Foley, Uber’s managing director, highlighted the company’s significant impact in New Zealand, with nearly half the population utilizing Uber’s services over the past decade. This initiative is a gesture of gratitude towards the community, offering a unique experience that blends luxury skiing with fine dining.
The ski experience will be available for booking on the Uber app starting at 10 a.m. AEST on August 20. Only 60 spots are open across three dates: August 24, August 31, and September 6. Interested participants must be Uber One members to secure a spot.
This event also marks Soho Basin’s final year of operation before Cardrona takes over, making it a truly once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
