Vermont and New York got some healthy doses of snow yesterday and last night.  Whiteface ski resort in New York got 5″ of snow.  The combination of the new snow and the fall colors is absolutely stunning.

Killington ski area in Vermont is open for skiing and riding for the season today.  The first ski resort open in North America.

Sunday River ski area in Maine opens tomorrow!
