USA to Send Warships to Russian Olympics for Athlete Extraction:

Security will be a major concern at the Sochi Olympics next month.  The USA Government isn’t going to take any chances with its top winter athletes and their personnel.  They’re sending several warships and aircraft to Russia as a way to remove American athletes if anything gets weird.  These military resources will also be in place to combat terrorism or any other security problems.

“The United States has offered its full support to the Russian government as it conducts security preparations for the Winter Olympics.”

“Air and naval assets, to include two Navy ships in the Black Sea, will be available if requested for all manner of contingencies in support of – and in consultation with – the Russian government.” – Pentagon spokesman Rear Admiral John Kirby

Several terrorism attempts against Sochi have already been foiled.  There was a threat against the games this week.  A militant group from the North Caucasus area has been liked to the video threatening the Sochi Olympics.

The Russians have sent over 100,000 police and military personnel to Sochi for the Olympics.

This video below is an interview with Russian president Vladimir Putin.  He says that the Russians will have drones flying constantly during the Olympics, missiles ready to fire and a computer-monitoring system to track every call and email in Sochi during the Olympics.

Sochi is in a very dynamic place on Earth.  Quite a few culture come together there and stake claim to that zone.
