Conditions Report
A snowstorm rolled through the Chilean Andes last week leaving 4″ to 12″ of snow laying around in Valle Nevado. This was the first snowfall of the season and it was a good one. Early May is very early for snow to start accumulating in Chile. This snow will most likely completely melt away before the next snowfall, but it’s still nice to see.
The forecast for this week is hot with freezing levels above 12,000 feet.
Las Lenas, Argentina appears to have gotten even more out of this storm with about a foot at the bast and likely 2 or 3 feet up top.
