Valle Nevado ski resort in Chile opens today. ย This video graphically displays just what we are all missing. ย It kinda hurts.
This is very early for South America to be looking this good. ย Valle Nevado is claiming that they have already received a few feet of snow this fall and they’ve gotten the mountain in good enough shape to open ‘er up. ย Good on ’em!
The snow machine has stopped for now. ย Valle Nevado’s forecast is nothing but sun and hot for the next 10 days. ย But hopefully that all changes again soon.
