A major storm system is set to blanket the Inner Mountain West, with significant snowfall expected in Utah and Colorado.
Key Storm Details
The first storm is hitting California now and will intensify overnight, impacting Utah and Colorado. Another system follows on 3/10-3/12, with a third on 3/12-3/14, setting up a prolonged period of snowfall.
Regional Highlights
Utah’s Wasatch range is expecting a massive dump. Alta and Snowbird could see 25-35 inches, while Park City is forecasted for around 2 feet. Colorado’s Western Slope and Southwest regions are also in for a treat, with a potential for 8-16 inches. Wyoming could see around a foot.

Looking ahead, the storm track remains active. California gets hit today, then another storm in the future, promising more powder days. The Northeast may see some snow later in the period, around 3/10, after some rain/snow mix
