SUNDAY RIVER 2030

As one of the largest ski areas in the Northeast, Sunday River has long been known for expansive terrain and world-class skiing and riding. Sunday River 2030 is a decade-long plan for sustainable growth and investments that will make the resort even better. The information below outlines the pillars that will serve as a foundation for growth and guide our decision-making over the next ten years, and the planned projects that will bring the future of Sunday River to life.

JORDAN BOWL LIFT

Replace and upgrade the Jordan Bowl Express with a new chairlift.

BARKER MOUNTAIN LIFT

Replace and upgrade the Barker Mountain Express with a new chairlift.

TEMPEST LIFT

Add a loading conveyor to the Tempest Quad to increase speed and efficiency.

SNOWSPORTS SCHOOL CENTER

Build a new facility to serve at the home of our SnowSports School programs slopeside on South Ridge.

MERRILL HILL

Break ground on the resortโ€™s premier neighborhood of home sites and install a new lift for ski access.

BASE LODGES

On-going improvements and additions to all base lodge facilities and services to improve the guest experience.

BARKER LODGE RESTAURANT

Transform the third floor of Barker Lodge into the resortโ€™s coolest and newest slopeside restaurant.

WHITE CAP LIFT

Replace and upgrade the White Cap Quad on Tempest with a new chairlift.

NORTH PEAK LIFT

Replace and upgrade the North Peak Express with a new chairlift.

HYDROTHERAPY SPA

Build a hydrotherapy spa in White Cap base area that will blend indoor and outdoor spaces with a range of services.

MOUNTAIN COASTER

Install new single-rail mountain coaster to travel from the top of North Peak down to South Ridge.

JORDAN CONFERENCE SPACE

Improve all function space in the hotel through design renovations and amenity upgrades.
