This is getting kinda crazy.  Most everyone in the west has now gotten snow and it’s very early snow in the northern hemisphere.  The east coast has even seen some snow.
Montana is going to receive the most direct hit this week, but there is snow in almost everyone’s forecast.  Montana is expecting 1-2 feet near Bozeman, while the rest of the Rockies are expecting a few inches.
Alta, UT has snow forecasted for Wednesday – Friday night.
Jackson Hole, WY has snow forecasted Wednesday – Friday night.
Summit County, CO has snow forecasted Thursday – Friday.
Sun Valley, ID has snow forecasted Wednesday – Friday.
Obviously, we can’t judge this season by what we’ve seen so far.  Nevertheless, this can’t exactly be a bad sign.  If it want’s to start snowing in September, so be it.  We just have to keep our fingers crossed that it gets into this same mood in December – April.
I love it ….bring it on the more the better. I really like the NAO dip for the west
It has begun.
