5 Ski Resorts In North America With 300+” of Snowfall This Season

It’s only the second week in January and we are seeing season totals of over 300″. These huge season totals are thanks to successive storms in the west this year.

As we move into the middle of January, it is looking like many other ski resorts will be joining this list. One more large storm will put a lot of western resorts over this insane benchmark on the season.

Mt. Rose: 374″

The recent storm delivered at Mt. Rose, it dropped 125″ of fresh snow on the area and the powder skiing begins tomorrow, since they have been closed since Sunday.

Mt. Baker: 353″

Mt. Baker has been getting pounded this winter, huge storms rolling off the ocean have been arriving in the PNW this year.

Sugar Bowl: 333″

Sugar Bowl has received 103″ from the storm and there are going to be some serious faceshots there today.

Jackson Hole: 310″

Jackson Hole just got hit by another huge storm that dropped blower powder throughout the week. They have been in Winter Storm Warnings consistently and we like it.

Mt. Bachelor: 306″

Mt. Bachelor has seen huge storms this far and with the opening of their new Cloudchaser Lift, it’s been a great year.
