This video was filmed at Heather Meadows in and around Mt. Baker ski resort yesterday, December 2nd, 2013.
Mt. Baker just got 11” of new at the base and 21” up top. The snowpack at the base of Baker is already 40” deep… It’s certainly deep in spots.
Baker has already had a few solid powder days this season. Big storms continue to march through the Pacific Northwest with the potential for 5-10 more inches tonight.
NORTHWEST AVALANCHE CENTER WEATHER FORECAST:
An additional few inches will likely accumulate early tonight as snow showers continue through the evening. Areas near the convergence zone(s), like Snoqualmie Pass, may pick up an additional 5-10 inches of low density snow. – NWAC
