Itโs been a snowy year in the USA if youโve been in the right spots โ namely Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, and the East Coast. The usually dominating snow totals of the West Coast are non-existent on this list this year. A miracle on the West Coast is still possible, but itโs starting to get late.
In the last week, the Rockies had some epic snowfalls boosting their snow totals to some very respectable numbers. Make sure to get out there and harvest some of the goods this spring.
All the snow totals listed below were found on the resortsโ websites on March 8th, 2015 at 11:59pm.
THE TOP 10 BIGGEST SNOW TOTALS IN THE USA:

#1 = Alyeska, AK = 298โณ

#2 = Jackson Hole, WY = 295โณ

#3 = Jay Peak, VT = 287โณ

#4 = Grand Targhee, WY = 278โณ
#5 = Breckenridge, CO = 275โณ
#6 = Brighton, UT = 255โณ
#7 = Alta, UT = 252โณ
#8 = Vail, CO = 250โณ
#9 = Snowbird, UT = 247โณ

#10 = Beaver Creek, CO = 240โณ
If youโre curiousโฆ
Iโve heard Alyeska is bad. Wolf Creek CO OTOH got 6 feet! of new snow a week ago.
Ummm. Taos Has more snow then Teluride or alta.
Funny how Wolf Creek didnโt make this list at 271โณ.
You missed Wolf Creek in Colorado โ 271โณ snowfall YTD.
lol, itโs been a terrible year in UT.
This post is rather funny. Alyeska is having one of the worst seasons on record. Perhaps a better gauge would be a percentage of average annual snowfall.
I find this post to be hilarious. Alyeska ski area is having one of the worst seasons on record and itโs still on the top. Maybe a better gauge would be a percentage of the resorts average snowfall.
Would it help anyone else if the # and title were above the pictures? Just a thought. Looks great in Wyoming.
