John John Florence landed the first rodeo flip ever landed in World Tour competition on Saturday in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil at the Oi Rio Pro.
The entire contest was basically 7-foot close-outs with steep ramps perfect for aerial maneuvers. Â John John didn’t even have a great ramp for this trick, he just went for it and pulled it off.
This flip happened in the third round of the Oi Rio Pro last Saturday and the judges rewarded John John with a 9.0 ride.
Awesome! But not the first.
