VIDEO Overlay: 2 Skierโ€™s Tear ACL on The Infamous Kitzbรผhel, Austria World Cup Downhill in Exact Same Spot/Way

This video overlay shows 3 identical Kitzbรผhel, Austria crashes from last week.  2 of these crashes ended up in season ending knee injuries (torn ACLs). It was this jump in the video that caused the carnage.  This jump took out 3 of the top downhill racers on the World Cup.  They ended up shortening the event to only 30 racers [โ€ฆ]

One Killed in Avalanche Near Brundage Mountain Ski Area, Idaho Yesterday

This January continues to be a nightmare for avalanche deaths in the USA.  Weโ€™ve seen more avalanche deaths this January (12) than we saw all of last winter in the USA (11). Missing Snowboarder Dies After Falling Off Large Out-of-Bounds Cliff at Cypress Mt, B.C.

A 40-year-old snowboarder was reported missing at Cypress Mountain, B.C., Canada on Friday around 6pm.  That snowboarder was found dead at the bottom of a cliff in an out of bounds called Montizambert Creek drainage.  It appears he rode off the edge of the cliff. 5 Killed in Large Avalanche in Canada Friday:

5 snowmobilers were killed in a large avalanche near McBride, B.C. yesterday, according to Donita Cuzma of the British Columbia Coroners Service.  Itโ€™s being reported that all of the deceased were from Alberta and between the ages of 40 and 55.  The avalanche occurred on the flanks of Mt.
