45-Inches of SNOW Forecast for Mt. Baker, WA Next 4 Days

NOAA is forecasting up to 45″ of snow by Sunday for 10,000-foot Mt. Baker in Washington state.  The heaviest snow is forecast to come down on Sunday night.

Snow levels will start out high with the coming storm before dropping as low as 3,000-feet by Sunday.

SNOW LEVELS WILL BE WELL ABOVE THE PASS LEVELS ON SATURDAY...6500 TO
7500 FEET. SNOW LEVELS WILL DROP TO AROUND 3000 FEET IN THE 
MOUNTAINS [SUNDAY/MONDAY] WITH A FEW INCHES OF SNOW POSSIBLE AT THE

Just last weekend, Baker had 70″ of snow forecast and Mt. Rainier had 162″ forecast.

Mt. Baker ski area (located near Mt. Baker) got 5″ of snow from last weekend’s storm and they’ll likely get about the same from this coming storm since snow levels will mostly be above the ski resorts 5,000-foot top.

We’re confident that NOAA will be issuing some advisories for this storm today or tomorrow.  Just check the above snow probability forecast.
