Outdoor Retailer + Snow Show In Denver | OR Parent Buys Buys SIA Snow Show

Outdoor Retailer announced on Thursday that their parent company purchased the SnowSports Industries America. SIA was the premiere ski industry trade show in North America for nearly two decades. This acquisition will merge the two shows into one called the “Outdoor Retailer + Snow Show.”

This has been an anticipated move for many years as it is expected to reduce stress on the industry and boost ROI for participation businesses. Emerald Expositions LLC will continue to produce Business-to-Business shows and expositions. This acquisition is expected to result in a well attended event in Denver, CO. It wasn’t officially announced when the event will take place, but OR gave us a rough estimate.

“it’s anticipated that the first combined Outdoor Retailer + Snow Show trade show will stage January 2018 in Denver, Colorado” stated Outdoor Retailer in a press release.
