Alta Ski Area, UT Confirms Opening Date | Less Than 1-Week To Go

Alta Ski Area, UT yesterday confirmed that their opening date will be Monday, November 23, 2020.

Opening Day is now scheduled for Monday, November 23rd.

Wear a mask. Wash your hands. Do your best snow dance. And we’ll be riding lifts one week from today.

This season, Alta has already seen 57″ of fresh snow and is sitting on a 21″ base. With another storm set to drop up to 6″ over the weekend, the opening day should be a fun one.

Open lifts and available terrain have yet to be confirmed, but we skied there a couple of times last week while they allowed uphill access, and for this time of year, conditions were sweet.
