Report from February 22, 2021

This morning was quiet and beautiful at Alta Ski Resort. After the huge 100” storm and the eager weekend crowds, it was nice to have a less congested mountain to shred today. We started the morning off by side-stepping up the Baldy elbow to ski what was left of the more powdery snow. The hard work paid off, and we surfed through some untouched pow.

We spent the rest of the morning on the Supreme chair, sending chutes and dodging trees. Supreme Bowl was a little shredded, but the snow was still soft and we were able to find some fun chutes and tree runs. I ended up in a chute I had never been on in White Squaw Area; skinny, steep, and sendy!

Have a great week and keep praying for snow!
