I showed up at Alta at the crack of 1pm today and it was snowing.
It gradually seemed to keep snowing harder and harder.
While I was skiing it felt like about 2-4″ of new snow.
You could still feel the bottom most everywhere I skied today but the cream on top was nice.
Still lots of rocks out there so please be careful.
As of this writing, Alta has recorded 15″ of snow today.
It’s supposed to snow all night tonight.
Tomorrow should be a great day.
