Report from January 16, 2023

Rolled up to Alta ski area, UT at about 10:30am today.

Met up with Brandon and we grabbed a fresh powder lap in the sunshine on Supreme then stacked in line for first tracks in the Ballroom.

Both were delectable.

I ran into Jamie & Benny Blair in the line for the Ballroom and we went right back through the Ballroom over to the Bad News cliffs on our next run.

The plan was the Bad News Double.

I felt good about it as I’d watched Noah Gaffney stomp it back before Christmas.

It was pretty bombed out so I crept in slow and found a fresh landing.

Jamie also found a fresh landing by going huge and clearing all the bomb holes!

Beast.

We then met up with Daryn, Rick, James, & Babbit.

We skied High Rustler, Jitterbug, Thirds, and Babbers Bomber Run.

Everything was skiing great.

Benny even threw a big ole backflip off a small jump.

I had so much fun today!

Tomorrow is gonna be a big storm day and the skiing should

be all-time at Alta.

Storm days at Alta are my favorite days.

We should also have the same crew back for a repeat.

Thanks, Utah!
