While doing all they can to make snow and win the #RaceToOpen, Arapahoe Basin, CO also shared several Facebook posts last week informing guests what they can expect next season.

From handwashing, social distancing, and face coverings, to riding lifts, changing in your car, and closing ‘The Beach,’ customers at A-Basin should now be up to speed on what to expect when the resort hopefully opens in the next week or so.

Here are their announcements:

#1 WEAR A FACE COVERING: Face coverings are required in all buildings, in the bathrooms, in the base area, in lift lines, and while riding the lift.

#2: 6 FEET PLEASE: Please adhere to physical distancing guidelines. This season is all about the skiing and riding, please do not congregate and just keep skiing or riding along.

#3: BE WELL TO SKI WELL: If you’re feeling good and are still smiling even after a face plant, come and enjoy the skiing and riding. If you are sick, if you show signs of any symptoms or are at high risk, STAY HOME. Leave if you begin to show signs or symptoms of illness. Let’s take care of ourselves and each other to make this a great ski and ride season.

#4 CLEAN HANDS: We know most people will be wearing gloves outside but please wash your hands and use the available hand sanitizer any chance you get.

#5: THE BEACH IS NOT THE PARTY ZONE: With deep sadness, we will not be offering The Beach this season. The Beach won’t be a party place this season. Tailgating and large group gatherings in the parking lots will not be allowed. Only parties that arrived at the ski area together can gather and group sizes must be 10 or less. With your continued help and support, we can get back to good ole’ beach days.

#6: YOUR VEHICLE IS YOUR LOCKER: Boot up at your car and leave your stuff there. Due to the capacity restrictions of our buildings, you will not be able to hang out, store things or eat a brown bag lunch. Buildings will be for dining customers and bathroom use. Please come prepared.

#7: RIDING LIFTS: Guests will be asked to self-group and load the chair with their traveling party. Lift attendants will not require guests to ride a chairlift with people they do not know. Chair capacities will be reduced. A face covering is required in the maze and while riding the lift.
