The longest season in Summit County, CO, is coming to a strong finish on Sunday, June 4, 2023. On Wednesday morning, A-Basin announced their closing date and Spring mountain festivities for the end of the season.

Not only will A-Basin be open 7 days a week for skiing and riding until closing day, but they also have some on-mountain celebrations planned for the rest of the season.

Starting things off Saturday, May 27, and Sunday, May 28, with Pride Weekend! Practice those dance moves in your ski boots while talented DJs spin all of the hits. Get excited and have some laughs during the ’drag ski parade’ (don’t forget to wear your fun costumes and spring attire) or kick back and take in this special weekend at Black Mountain Lodge for live music and a mural!

Saturday, there will be DV8 Distillery tastings and live music before skiing the Pride Flag down Sundance.

Sunday, let DJ Vanaken & Mahdici set the vibes and watch (or participate) in the Rail Jam at Black Mountain Lodge before the Drag Ski Parade.

For closing weekend, skiers and riders can enjoy live music, share the stoke of an incredible season, and get some final Summit County resort turns in for the year.

There is no guarantee for the Lake Reveal Pond Skim this year, but the team at A-Basin has high hopes that the snow will melt and the lake will show before the end of the season.

Opening the earliest, on October 23, and closing the latest, June 4, in Summit County, boasting 224 days of skiing and riding, Arapahoe Basin is the place to be to finish your season!
