The popular Summit County resort, Arapahoe Basin Ski Area, is nearly sold out of 2022-23 season passes. The resort announced on Tuesday that they have sold 90% of their available passes, giving skiers and riders a short window of time to purchase one for this year.

The A-Basin Season Pass is the only available method of receiving unlimited, unrestricted access to the resort. The total cost of the season pass for adults aged 19 to 69 years old is $639, $479 for 15 to 18-year-olds, $179 for 6 to 14-year-olds, and $389 for those 70 years old and up. Additionally, the pass is being offered for free for children five years and younger.  The Ikon Pass offers 7 days of access to the mountain, while the Ikon Base Pass offers 5 days.

There are several reasons why this pass is appealing for skiers and riders alike. Due to its extremely high elevation, A-basin is widely considered to have the longest season of any resort in Colorado. They routinely keep their lifts turning as early as October and as late as June, giving pass holders the chance to hit the slopes 9 months out of the year. It is also one of the closest resorts to the Denver metropolitan area, situated just over 60 miles from downtown. If you are interested in buying one of these passes before they’re all gone, you can purchase them here.
