Banff Sunshine Village, Alberta, is gearing up for an exceptional spring skiing season, offering extended lift hours and prime snow conditions. Starting March 15, 2025, all 12 lifts operate from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily, with the Jackrabbit lift running until 5:00 p.m. This extension adds over 2,000 bonus skiable minutes to the season, lasting until the iconic Slush Cup event on May 19.
The resort received an impressive 36 inches (91 centimeters) of fresh powder in March, contributing to a 70-inch (178 centimeters) base, almost bang on average (98%). With a season total of 173 inches (440 centimeters), Banff Sunshine continues to deliver on its reputation for exceptional snow conditions.
Spring Pass holders can take advantage of Canada’s longest non-glacial ski season, with unlimited access from March 8 to May 19. The pass, which pays for itself in just four visits, also grants access to the Rockies’ most anticipated spring events.
