It’s been a wild week at Catedral ski resort in Bariloche, Argentina.ย It stormed every day this week with some storm days bringing so much wind that the ski resort was unable to open.ย All those stormed dropped plenty of snow up high.ย Around 6-feet of snow has fallen in the past week on the upper elevations of Catedral.
Visibility has been tough this week, but if you were willing to work for it, there were some great turns to be had.ย They were even able to the Nubes chair open a time or two this week.ย The snow was mostly good up high with a few days of uber dense, wet powder that was a challenge, but was still fun.ย There were even a couple fun days in the world class trees here.
The forecast for this week shows sun and warming temperatures.ย This should be an epic week to rip laps on Nubes and poke around in the backcountry near Catedral.
Glad you are getting it.
