Spring skiing is officially underway at Brian Head Resort in Southern Utah. The resort hosted its annual spring carnival today, complete with a cardboard box race, rail jam, and costume slalom.
Originally planned to finish on April 14, Brian Head Resort is targeting Sunday, May 5, as a closing date. The resort announced the season extension in March this year.
The resort keeps the fun going throughout April with beach volleyball and weekly costume parties.
Lift tickets for the extended season can be purchased in advance for as low as $19; kids 12 and under ski free.
April Events at Brian Head Resort
  • Ski Patrol Donation Cookout: 4/13/24: Cookout and Giveaways to benefit the Ski Patrol Scholarship Fund.
  • Snow Beach Patio Party4/20/24: Beach volleyball with live music on the patio of Giant Steps Lodge.
  • Closing Day5/5/24: last day of the 23/24 winter season.

  • Thurs. April 11 – Western Day
  • Sun. April 14 – Decades Throwback
  • Sat. April 20 – Beach Day
  • Sun. April 21 – Tourist Day
  • Thurs. April 25 – Sports Day
