Today Brian Head Resort in Utah announced it will delay its 2023/24 ski season opening. The updated opening day is scheduled for Friday, November 17, 2023, conditions permitting.

On its Facebook page, the resort announced:

“Our dedicated mountain operations team has been working tirelessly to ensure the best possible opening day conditions for you. While our efforts have been continuous and persevering, we can’t always control the temperatures and weather conditions. While we wait for Mother Nature, please know we’re working hard to deliver a fantastic experience for all our guests.”

Warm temperatures have slowed snowmaking at Brian Head Resort, which was scheduled to open on November 10.
