What better way to celebrate Valentine’s Day than a fun day on the snow with the love of your life. Monarch Mountain, CO, is holding a ‘Sweetheart Race’ for couples on Sunday 13th February.
Teams of two will race head to head on Monarch’s Freeway racecourse. Registration is $5 per person and sign-up will be on the day of at the info tent in the parking area between the lodge and patrol between 10:00 am – 10:30 am.
“This is a fun race for all abilities. Each competitor will take one run on each of the head-to-head courses. The combined times from each team member will determine the fastest Sweethearts.”

Each team member will take two runs through the racecourse. One run on the blue course and one run on the red course. All ages and ability levels are welcome to race as Sweethearts. Skiers and snowboards can be sweethearts too!
