Colorado Snowsports Museum Hall of Fame 2023.


Colorado Snowsports Hall of Fame 2023 Award winners will be honored on August 27, 2023, at the Colorado Snowsports Museum.
Votes were cast by snow sports industry professionals and the winners includes athletes, sports builders and inspirational individuals from all across the state of Colorado from Boulder to Crested Butte to Telluride

The five inductees of the Class of 2023 will be:

  • Cheryl Jensen – Inspiration
  • Hilaree Nelson – Athlete | Inspiration
  • John Norton – Sport Builder
  • Sandy Hildner – Sport Builder
  • Seth Masia – Inspiration

Alongside the Class of 2023, the following people and organizations will be honored:

  • Renie and David Gorsuch — Lifetime Achievement
  • Mikaela Shiffrin — Competitor of the Year
  • SOS Outreach — Top of the Hill
  • Kendall Gretsch — Adaptive Athlete
  • Filip Forejtek — Collegiate Athletes of the Year
  • Nora Brand — Collegiate Athletes of the Year

It will be the fourth time Mikaela Shiffrin receives this award. The Alpine ski racer was born in Vail, CO, and now resides in Edwards, CO. Mikaela Shiffrin is the most successful alpine skier in history in terms of World Cup victories. She has also won two Olympic gold medals and six World Championship gold medals.

The annual induction ceremony is an inspiring and family-friendly event at the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater in Vail, CO. The open-air event is a great way to celebrate the inductees and Colorado snow sports, and ticket prices start at just $50 for adults, with all proceeds going to support the Colorado Snowsports Museum.
