Conditions Report:
The daily conditions at Vail Mountain Resort are offered up on Vail Daily via the “On The Hill” video series. Interesting enough, it’s sponsored by a local sports medicine practice. As of Wednesday of this week Vail has almost 500 acres of terrain open with an 18″ base. With 5,289 acres of skiable terrain, 500 acres only represents 9% of the mountain. So far seven lifts are running with 24 trails to choose from, including Gondola One.
Vail Daily On the Hill correspondent John LaConte reports from terrain surrounding Chairs 2 and 4 on Vail Mountain, which upped its total to nearly 500 acres of open terrain on Wednesday, Nov. 30.
