Jonas Hunziker and the film crew over at BBC Earth joined forces to release this great edit. Hunziker, a professional Swiss freestyle skier, is no stranger to competition. He has competed in 2011, 2013, and 2015 in the World Freestyle Championships and represented his country in Peyong Chang for the 2018 Olympics.
Rudi, the falcon shows off how this elite bird of prey’s speed, eyesight, and agility is far superior to that of even the best freeskiers.  Wikipedia lists the top speed of this barely 3 lb predator to be 240mph, while some of the fastest downhill racers on the planet don’t even reach half of that speed while competing. It’s really fun to watch how Rudi effortlessly zeros in on the bait attached to Jonas’ helmet and moves in for “the kill.”
