Copper Mountain ski resort in Colorado, just this afternoon, announced they’ll be opening for the season on Wednesday.
Copper Mountain will be joining Loveland, Arapahoe Basin, Keystone, and Wolf Creek as the only ski resorts open in Colorado right now.
Copper will open with the American Eagle lift accessing the Rhapsody and Main Vein trails.
Copper will be offering free lift tickets on opening day, Veteran’s Day, for all active or retired military peole and their dependents.
“With Copper now opening on Veteran’s Day, the resort will offer free skiing and riding on Wednesday, Nov. 11 to all active or retired military and their dependents. This includes all Active Duty, Reserve, National Guard and retired military and their dependents (spouses and/or children). All military and dependents will be required to show a valid ID at the ticket window at time of purchase.” – Copper Mt

When will you be opening?
Copper Mountain will open for the 2015-2016 season on November 11th at 9:00 am.
What terrain will be available for opening day?
We plan to have top-to-bottom skiing on the trails Rhapsody and Main Vein via American Eagle lift.
What will be open?
Copper Sports will be open 7am-5pm (Sun-Thurs) and 8am-8pm Fridays and Saturday’s
Copper Collections and Copper Rocker will be open 8:30am-5:00pm (Sun-Thurs) and 8am-8pm Friday-Saturday
Lost and Found, Gear Check and The Fix will be open 8am-5pm (Sun-Sat)
Kelly’s Closet is open 10am-5pm (Sun-Sat)
Jacks is open 7am-2:30pm
Endo’s is open 11am-8pm
Starbucks, Gustino’s, Solitude and Camp Hale are all open already!
Ski and Ride Lessons are available starting November 14th!
The Eagle Park opens Friday, November 13th
