Hundreds of cyclists crashed into each other just moments after the start of the Mountain of Hell enduro mountain bike race in Les Deux Alpes, France this weekend.

The footage shows cyclist after cyclist tumbling over after they lose their grip or crash into another on the 15-mile course. The riders taking part were on the first part of their course, a 3,000-foot descent, before continuing.

The enduro freeride event involves 700 riders taking off at the same time down a 15-mile course of snow, ice, rocks, single tracks, and sharp curves. The riders descend a total of 8,530 feet.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported and the winner was Kilian Bron of France who managed to avoid at least two crashes during his 32-minute ride.
