WeatherBrains | | Post Tag for WeatherWeather

The mercury hit 98 degrees in Denver yesterday, setting a record for the date and also the month by being the hottest temperature ever recorded in September. And it looks like today that record will fall again.

Labor Day is likely to push, and maybe even exceed, 100 degrees for most metro areas along the Front Range.

Cooler air will return on Tuesday, helping to keep the metro areas in the 80s to low 90s, and that should last through the week.

As far as rain, there will be some daily thunderstorms for the week, with higher chances in Denver on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
