The Val Thorens Ski Resort in France just got buried in about 2 feet of snow from the last storm. The storm that has been dumping snow over this last weekend brought the total snow for the Resort to 80cm [32in] at 3200m[10,498ft] and 60cm [24in] at 2300m[7,545ft] elevation.
The ski resort close to Val Thorens in the same valley, Les Menuires is closed until late December but it appears that they got around a foot of snow.Â
Ski resorts to the North such as Tignes, France also got tons of snow. Tignes is reporting 1 meter(around 3 feet)Â of new snow.
