The Freeguide Carbon ski boot is the new standard in free touring ski boots. The incredible fit of the carbon fiber shell offers precise and powerful energy transmission for ultimate downhill performance. The walkability of the boots is permitted by an integrated ski/walk mechanism and a 2-part tongue that allows a 60° cuff rotation. The all-new Boa inner liner ensures exceptional comfort keeping your feet warm and delivering precision with the micro-adjustable locking system.

I’ve been testing these ski boots over the course of the past month and I haven’t been disappointed once. The carbon construction makes these ski boots feel as light as tennis shoes. They perform as well as any alpine ski boot I’ve ever worn and skied down the mountain with. The Boa inner liner can tighten to make the boots a flex of your choice, and cranked all the way up they get pretty darn tight—perfect for steep, technical terrain where you need as much flex as you can get. But they’re also comfy and great for mellow tours in powder or even walking on the pavement to and from the car. These are my go-to ski touring boots for any condition. I’ll be using them well into the Spring for all the big objectives ahead.
