As they say, it’s been a hot one. Baked, sweltering, and waiting – that’s how many in this mountain-minded community have felt. As we worked through the summer heat, we also anxiously awaited that crisp chill, a cozy sweater, and the first snowfall to appear. Because then, with an Ikon Pass in hand, The Good Stuff is just moments away. By plane, train, or adventure rig, this mountain community has had its sights set on winter. With some destinations opening in October, The Good Stuff is on its way and winter is practically here.

50+ Destinations Worldwide

179,197 skiable acres, spread across more than 50 destinations worldwide. That includes 10 countries, almost as many languages, and endless ways to play. Now is the moment to pull out the map, pick up your pass, and start planning for The Good Stuff you’ll score while exploring bucket list destinations like Chamonix Mont-Blanc Valley in France, Lotte Aria Resort in Japan, Panorama in British Columbia, Alyeska in Alaska, and many, many more.

Of course, the stoke stays high as you bounce across multiple North American mountains in snow-laced landscapes like California, Colorado, Utah, and beyond. Just think of all the fun you’ll find while surfing through legendary icons like Mammoth Mountain, Palisades, Aspen Snowmass, Winter Park, Steamboat and Deer Valley to name a few. With this line up, The Good Stuff lives everywhere you want to be.

Protip: as holidays always seem to be on the horizon, pack your calendar now, plan your travels, and let fun be your guide this winter. Prices are going up soon. The last day to save on the 23/24 season is October 12.

The Good Stuff Gets Better

More terrain to ride, more views to see, more ways to move, and more comfort to be found – that’s just a touch of what pass holders can look forward to throughout the 23/24 season. Spanning coast-to-coast, boots on the ground have been hard at work with a ranging collection of new lifts, improved systems, and building updates that are set to deliver more of The Good Stuff this winter.

Steamboat

23/24 is the culmination of the most extensive destination redevelopment ever seen. This three year, $220+ million-dollar project will close by adding 655 acres of expert terrain. This expanded footprint places Steamboat as the second-largest ski resort in Colorado. To supplement this new terrain, Steamboat will open the upper section of Wild Blue Gondola, the fastest and longest 10-person gondola in North America.

Mammoth Mountain

New and ready for you, Mammoth is opening a new, state-of-the-art 6-pack lift at the base of Canyon Lodge. Providing up to 25% more uphill capacity, this lift also features enclosed top and bottom terminals, ensuring on-time openings on bluebird powder days.

Copper Mountain

Ring in the 23/24 season by dropping into Aerie, Copper Mountain’s new mid-mountain dining lodge and its biggest investment in over a decade. On the ground, ease into your days with updated parking and transportation systems.

Big Sky

At Big Sky, the replacement of the Lone Peak Tram has been long-awaited after its 25 years of operation. The new, larger, faster, quieter, and more comfortable Tram will reimagine the Lone Peak experience, increasing access to the terrain for more skiers and riders and unlocking the transformative views for scenic riders.

From east to west, north to south, through Europe and beyond, the 23/24 season is one filled with big improvements and bigger stoke. With significant increases in snow making, several terrain expansions, new lodges, strategies to improve the destination experience, and updates to lift access at destinations around the world, be sure to keep an eye on your favorite destinations for what’s new. There’s a whole lot of Good Stuff to look forward to.

Reality Check

Winter, spring, and summer sends, long days with friends, and every turn well with the spend – that’s The Good Stuff.

Yup. There’s a metric ton of Good Stuff to come. And, if the 24/25 season is anything close to last year, you’re gonna want to have this pass in hand. For example, while many of us were sweating it out in summer’s sauna, a lucky number of the Ikon Pass community rode into August at Mammoth Mountain. That’s a bonkers, record-breaking season of 274 days of pure, white gold. Doing the math, those lucky dogs and dogettes were riding for mere cents per day. And Mammoth wasn’t the only late-season ticket. Palisades Tahoe, Arapaho Basin, Winter Park, and several Utah mountains all pushed the fun well into the season of sun. So, be sure to have your pass in hand when the mornings get crisp, the snow starts dumping, and your friends and family have packed their bags for adventure.
