Cold.

BC is really really cold right now.

I mean, c’mon man!  I’m from California over here, dammit!

-19ÂșC (-2ÂșF) was the high at mid-mountain yesterday…

I definitely got my first frost nip of my life yesterday.  Big toe looks weird now…

Ok, done complaining.

Yesterday was clear with a thin overcast up high but the sun still felt good.

I traveled out of bounds from the resort to the west and the skiing was phenomenal.

The first chute I skied was terrifying with a choke that was less than a ski length that I had to sketchily sidestep down…

Below the sidestep, it was pure joy with deep, soft snow and steep, gorgeous walls.

The next zone was wide open and feature-full with terrific snow.

Wow.
