Beast of the East Killington Resort, VT, fired up its snow guns on Saturday morning to being snowmaking in preparation for the start of ski season and the 2022 Women’s World Cup races taking place Thanksgiving weekend.
Snowmakers fired up 23 guns between Rime and Superstar to start making those whales.
Last season Killington opened on November 5th, the first east coast resort to do so. It remained open through June 4th, 2022, its latest closing in 25 years, celebrating the ‘longest season in the east’.
It’s not winter yet… but it’s coming.
