The Mammoth & Southern Sierra snowpack is currently at 533% of average for today’s date, according to the California Department of Water Resources.

Mammoth is skiing insanely well right now.

It doesn’t feel like June.

There’s so much snow here…

It just feels like a great spring day in April.

I didn’t show up until 11am today and went as hard as I could until they closed at 1pm.

  1. How come Mammoth Mountain Ski Resort closes down 1:00 p.m.? If it because the threat of thunderstorms, well I can see why if this is the case. But to shut down all because of slushy snow, that’s sooooo stupid!!!!!! It’s call putting wax on the bottom of the skis or snowboard.
