The people have spoken. Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, WY, is the official winner of the inaugural SnowBrains March Madness Ski Resort tournament. The iconic Wyoming ski destination won five straight rounds to climb to the top of the podium, consistently beating ski resort icons such as Whistler Blackcomb, Big Sky, Palisades Tahoe, and finally Killington.
Killington didn’t lose the finals without putting up a good fight. The resort still mustered up an impressive 39% of the final vote in what most people considered to be a steep uphill battle for any East Coast resort.
73 people successfully guessed that Jackson Hole Mountain Resort would win. Instagram user @climbin_the_mtn was one of those 73 people and was randomly selected to win a SnowBrains merch prize pack.
Finishing Order
The final finishing order is based on the total number of votes each resort received throughout the competition. Resorts that made it to more rounds had more opportunities to receive votes.
