What a weekend!  The 30th Annual Legendary Banked Slalom was nothing short of legendary.  Mother Nature made up for last year’s “29.5 LBS” and dumped 8″ of fresh for the race on Saturday including a blue bird afternoon for all to enjoy.  The four-day event was one of the best to date, thanks to the Baker crew and all the volunteers for the hard work.  Congrats to Maelle Ricker from Squamish, B.C. who won her 8th Duct Tape Trophy (most winning for anyone, ever!) for the “Pro Women” and Mathieu Crepel from France who won the Pro Men category.

Baker had to bring in the big guns on Sunday and heli-bombed to keep everyone safe – thanks guys!  The forecast is looking warm but a little fun in the sun never hurt anyone.  Get out there and enjoy it before the nest storm.  Make sure to check NWAC for any backcountry travel.
