Colorado is about to get pounded with snow. Multiple winter storm warnings are in effect today through Saturday with snowfall totals forecasted around 8-16”. This will be a significant snow event in Colorado.
Please check in with the Colorado Avalanche Information Center before going into the backcountry this weekend. Last weekend, the CAIC issued a special avalanche warning due to large scale instabilities in the snowpack.
